Today we are releasing our Y2Y San Ramon photo album to the general internet public. Chelsie has been working over the past week to get it populated with a bunch of pictures from the past few years. We'll be adding to it over time, so be sure to come back and see what we've been up to. If you have any pictures you would like to contribute please contact Chelsie.

You can find the album here.

In other news, we have enabled comments on all site articles. So, if you're interested in replying to anything we post here, you're more than welcome to! Just remember, if you ever find technical issues with the site, please don't hesitate to contact the webmaster directly.

So, now that you've talked to your middle school participant or high school staff (or both!) and have discovered their new-found passion for Youth to Youth, its time to figure out what both of you can do to get more involved.

For Middle School Students
  • 6-8th graders: Attend Y2Y conferences in San Ramon and Castro Valley (coming up in April!).
  • 8th grade only: Attend weekly CAB meetings at Iron Horse Middle School.

For High School Students
All High school students:
  • Attend CAB meetings at Iron Horse Middle School
  • Attend Western States Conference (more info at CAB meetings)
  • Staff the Western States Conference
  • Attend and staff other state conferences (info at CAB meetings)
  • Help organize and coordinate the San Ramon conference (at CAB meetings)

For Relatives, Advisors, and the Community at Large
  • Volunteer to help with CASA events like the San Ramon Y2Y Conference. (Contact CASA)
  • Encourage youth to attend and participate in Y2Y events like CAB or the Y2Y Conference.

The Youth to Youth Conference for 2009 is now over but it has certainly not passed. If you're like most people who have youth who participated or staffed in our annual event this weekend then you certainly know that it is still fresh in their minds. As parents, what needs to happen now? What can you do to take this wonderful experience to the next level? We've put together a few articles to help you process through the conference as a whole, with your student. This will hopefully help give you an idea about what happened during your student's day and give you some more insight into what happened during the conference as a whole.

Articles:

Processing with Participants (Middle School)

Processing with Youth Staff (High School)

Where can I get more involved? Where can we go from here? What now?
